By Car

From London take the A30 via Okehampton and then take A39 through Truro and on towards Penryn. On the outskirts of Penryn take the A394 to Helston. Then follow signs to the Lizard on the A3803 for nearly two miles (passing Culdrose Airbase) before turning onto the B3293 which you follow through Garras and on until fork right . Nearly three miles past Goonhilly Downs fork right on to B3294 signed to Coverack.

Follow the road through the village (along the seafront) until you see a very sharp turning back up the hill, above the harbour at the far end of the village. Battery Cottage is about 100m up the hill on the left where there are two car parking spaces on the left (opposite a small public footpath which leads back into the village). The south-facing cottage overlooks the village park and the sea.

By Air

The nearest airport is Newquay, but you would need to hire a car as the drive to Coverack takes around 1hr 15 minutes.

By Train

Go to Truro and arrange a taxi or friend to drive you to Coverack (35-40 minutes), see by car.
